Best seeds I have tasted so far growing is the skywalker og seeds from this website and I saw a deal for the may the 4th Be with you day. I only grew 2 of them last time and I went through it so fast I'm going to do all 4 this time around. It was so sweet it makes my mouth water just thinking about the next grow.
The first item your going to need is a tent. I recommend a 4x4 tent for starters. Eventually your probably going to get another smaller tent to start your next crop in while the 1st Crop is flowering but just to start I would just buy a 4x4 to get you going.
I have this tent and it works great.
Next thing your going to need is a light. I have 3 cheap blurple 1000W LED in my tent I didn't exactly know what I needed when I started and bought one and that didn't cut it so I bought another one which eventually turned into 3. I would love to upgrade. If I were to do it over I would have just bought a bigger light right off the bat.
I would just spend the money and get one like this to start with. I ended up spending almost this much on cheap lights.
Next item your going to have to look at is an inline fan and a carbon filter. This is important it exchanges fresh air into your tent and takes out the old air. It also sucks the smell outside so your whole house doesn't smell like a field of weed. For my Inline fan I bought a ac infinity 6". I bought a 4" at first thinking it would save some money and it would be fine, well it was not and I ended up having to buy the 6". For the carbon filter I bought a VIVOSUN 6 Inch Air Carbon Filter. The filters something you need to replace after a while so I went mid grade on that. Don't forget to get a duct for it.
Your not done with airflow just yet your still going to need a fan in the tent simulating the wind this strengthens your plants stems or once it buds your plants will just fall over from the weight. I use this lasso fan and put it in the corner above the plants to make a little cyclone in the tent.
That is everything you need for the environment inside the tent now your going to need something to control it. I use this cheap Amazon surge protector and for the lights timer this nearpow timer. I actually run 2 tents off this power supply with 2 of these timers and works great.
You should have everything you need to set up the tent at this point but there is still a lot of little odds and ends to start growing.
Your going to need some zip lock baggies and paper towels to start the plants. I use bounty paper towels because you can easily check on the seeds without the towels falling apart. I would get the big pack because you might want them to clean up any spills while gardening.
Your going to want some disposable cups to put seedlings in.
Some 7 gallon air pots to transfer plants to when big enough. This is the pots I use.
Next you need some soil for your pots and cups. I usually use foxfarm soil like this but you can use whatever you prefer.
Your going to need a ph tester. I kept buying the cheap 12 Dollar ones and they would die constantly so I just gave up and bought this one and I am happy I did. I've had it for over a year now and it works great.
Your going to need ph up and ph down. For the first time I just bought this kit to start out.
Don't forget a measuring set, you don't want to ruin your good kitchen set.
1 gal pitcher to water plants with. I also have a 5 gal bucket. I use to get water with.
Don't forget a microscope to look at the trichomes.
Last but not least you need a good fertlizer. I use fox farm but my friend told me to try general hydroponics. He's a good friend and I'll take his word on it but I'm going to try it next time I need fertlizer and ill let you know. I'll leave a link for both and you can decide for yourself.
